WHAT I DO …

I am not a compositor, AFX or 3D operator. I create detailed static designs, polished visualisations and storyboards. My favoured apps are Photoshop and C4D. I also create 'look and feel' concept animations by adding AFX & Premiere to the mix. These early processes deliver two things. A thorough explaination of a design approach and a smooth transition into post-production. Once everyone understands the design route, my role becomes that of director. I have long running working relationships with a group of skilled and talented people, specialists with whom I have achieved some of the work you see here.

In short, I oversee and steer on-screen projects from design to delivery, bringing brands to life in the process. I am able to work in-house, remotely, or in combination.

BACKGROUND

Fresh out of Art School I was recruited by Martin Lambie-Nairn to join his leading TV broadcast design team. Over the next 8 years I was lucky enough to work on some of the world’s best know and loved on-screen Identities. In 2000 I became Head of Screen Design at Lambie-Nairn, a role I relished for a further 5 years.In 2005 I decided to broaden my horizons and become a freelance designer and director.

This site showcases a mix of my creative projects as graphic designer, director and fine artist.
